I recently became Miss Black Oklahoma Talented Teen USA. The scholarship pageant was last Sunday at Douglass High School is Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. My talent was a spoken word called "I have Bi-racial Hair" by Zora Howard. I began preparing for the pageant since May. Five hour practices, dances routines, dress rehearsals, community service, and making friendships became my life of pageantry.

I met girls all across the state of Oklahoma. Miss Black University of Oklahoma, Miss Black University of Central Oklahoma, Miss Black Cameron University, Miss Black Oklahoma City University, Miss Black Langston University, Miss Black Edmond, Miss Black Moore, Miss Black Cleveland County.

Since being crowned, I have appeared at the Annual Soul Bowl Classic Football game at Douglass High School in Oklahoma City on September 11, 2010.
On the left, is me, Miss Black Oklahoma Talented Teen USA 2010, Sheray Franklin (Miss Black Oklahoma City University) now reigning Miss Black Oklahoma USA, and Evey, Miss Black Oklahoma (America System). We helped hand out scholarships to Millwood High School and Douglass High School students. It was SO fun. We had a blast with the crew from Power 103.5.
